JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA VOL. 1, #125-127, 131-134: Gerry Conway

When Gerry Conway took control of the writing chores on JLA, back in 1976, he was one of the hottest writers around. He’d just come off 15, which had its moments but wasn’t as classic as lots of people remember, and he was defecting from Marvel to DC. He was so important, they gave him his own house ad…

But I have to say, I find his work a little overrated. Like, his first JLA story was about Superman’s belt fighting the entire team.

Entirely forgettable run of issues. But Gerry will be back. Hopefully it will be better.
