“Hustler” is a slow-moving country album, but it’s not the kind of country you might expect. It’s not twang and it’s not traditional Americana. But it’s about love, loss, and traveling and dirt and dust and the relationships between parents and children. So it feels like country. But the label is unnecessary.
This is just a sweet and beautiful record.
