Anyway, issues #5 and 6 focus on Dr. Strange and magic.  In #5, we got a decent story by Chris Claremont and Marshall Rogers about Strange and his girlfriend, Clea.  But in issue #6 we get a really good Dr. Strange tale by Roger Stern, one of the few guys who really “got” the character, and wonderful art by Charles Vess (above).  Issue #6 is really the most interesting issue because the main story, about Scarlet Witch and Spider-Man and created by Mike Barr and Sandy Plunkett, tells a very similar story with very similar landscapes…


Backup feature for issue #5 was Cap and Bucky by Roger McKenzie and Luke McDonnell.  Great to see him drawing Captain America.
