HONEY BONES-Honey Bones EP

Here’s another Bandcamp album that’s well-worth your time. And just your time. Because it don’t cost a dime.

Honey Bones’ eponymous EP is funky in a Stevie Knicks kind of way—or at least the music is. Not the vocals. The vocals would be at home in any indie rock lover’s library.

It’s stellar guitar and drums pop, produced like that most famous of indie albums, the Postal Service debut: The beatmaker and singer would send music band-and-forth from Iowa to California. But the result is a singular product—it doesn’t sound like they weren’t together at all.

I absolutely love this EP. Check it out.
