Was anyone clamoring for JJJ’s Spider Slayer returning?

These issues introduced Marla Madison, who would later become Marla Jameson.  Here, she bonds with her future husband over gadgets that will be used to kill Spider-Man.  Both the Amazing and Peter Parker titles seemed replete with storylines about people planning to, or who were hired to, kill Spider-Man.  There’s not a lot of “hitman” style plots anymore.  Personally, I think we’re due.
