WORST FEMALECENTRIC COMIC
X-23. Female characters that are simply gender-switched versions of a more famous male version are, simply put, nothing but a money grab. There’s nothing unique or individual about them. And, generally, the same is true for their comics. Especially X-23. Based on these criteria, I could have said “Supergirl,” but the execution of the current SG book is actually pretty good for a new 52 title. (Since I only read about four new 52 titles—I’ve dropped all of the others—this seems to be damning with faint praise; however, the first arc in the Supergirl book was a solid action comic.)
This book was unreadable–the only people who bought it were avid Wolverine fans.
