I started this blog many years ago in 2001, but did it on blogspot. At my peak, I was getting 10K hits a day…But several address/host changes later due to ridiculous shit from the RIAA, I landed here, focusing entirely on music that is not RIAA supported and having under 2K regular readers. But those who do come here, keep coming back and really read my site.
And the best is when “real life” musicians e-mail me to thank me for helping them get attention for a show or a label, or dedicating an album to my site, or mentioning it in liner notes. All that feels great.
I’m grateful to all of you who’ve read my blog over the years. I hope you all continue to enjoy it.

I suspect that you have more readers than that. People like me, for example, who have you bookmarked but never have seemed to grasp the complexities of adding you in more visible ways. And whose comments sometimes get eaten by the ether before they post.
