Super heroes were made for cartoons, and just about every boy grows up watching them. Everyone loved Batman: The Animated Series. Most folks loved that great 1990s X-Men cartoon as well. And unless you’re an idiot, you rank Teen Titans Go! as one of the greatest works of American animated art of all time. Then there are the mainstays: Justice League, the 1960s Spider-Man ‘toon, The Super Friends, Superman: TAS…But there are other ‘toons that, for whatever reason, tend to be forgotten when people make “top 10s.”
These are the stories of those series. The ones that should have gotten more play. Or, at least, my favorites…After the page break.

Not entirely sure i’m following your criteria here, but i’m throwing Batman Beyond out there, as i don’t think it gets nearly enough love, and the new comic currently is the only “good” thing coming out of the Bat-verse.
If you were to include live-action, i’d have to throw in The Middleman and Phoo Action.

Good Lord and Butter, man, how are we friends? Phoo Action was a BBC pilot epi that never got picked up. Based on the comic by Jamie Hewlett (of Tank Girl and Gorillaz fame) “Get the Freebies,” the live action epi had Carl “Action Jackson” Weathers as the father. Did i mention his daughter is white for no apparent reason? i’m guessing they just said, “fuck it, it’s Carl Weathers. What, are we going to NOT hire him?” You can find the show broken up in segments on YouTube. i probably have it saved on my computer somewhere, too.
