Six guys with guitars, drums, bass, keyboards, hooks and barband vocals, and lyrics about misfitting and mistaken loving. That’s it. Just classic rock written and designed to be performed live. You don’t really need more than that to make great music. Except maybe talent. And the 6-member Tennessee band The Black Cadillacs got that. In spades.
Run is their second album, but it hits hard like a debut. It’s the first Black Cadillacs album I’ve ever heard, and I’m digging it.
For fans of: Ryan Adams, Drive-By Truckers, and solid rock and roll.
