1. My new favorite song/video. I don’t know the artist, but I recognize the folks on the video. Show Them to Me-Rodney Carrington.”

2. Wichita Lineman-The Meters

4. Jeremy Enigk, who released an unjustifiably slept on album last year, is coming out with a new EP. One song is now available. Not only should you listen to it, you should buy “World Waits,” his afore-mentioned record. The new single and a cut from World Waits are available at his site.

5. Don’t forget this great band! You’re a Wolf-Sea Wolf.

6. Sound As Language has a link to get a free CD from Pennsylvania’s The Pax Cecilia.

7. Cara, who I used to communicate with more frequently, runs a great blog and pointed me towards a new tune by Beat Radio-What I Love The Most.

8. This is totally sick but also totally deep if you think about it. Only problem is, Jesus is the one who is a zombie in the bible, not his disciples.

9. Ten Masked Men- Cry Me A River (Justin Timberlake cover)

10. Our Life is Not a Movie or Maybe-Okkervil River.

SHIM SHAM 5/5/2000

I’m very sad to say that this will be my last Shim Sham post. Nobody has come forward to win an Editors CD by sending me a Shim show. So all I have left is the 2000 show, which was actually just Adam Duritz and David Immergluck. The quality on this one is significantly muffled, unfortunately.

These are for you. I will wait until the end of the day tomorrow to give the Editors CD to someone else, so if you have a show, please please please let me get what I want.
